Easi-Lok has been developed to make secure access safe and simple for utility companies. The unique integrated Abloy padlock within the steel access covers makes them easy to open and extremely secure.

The team behind Easi-Lok is JOD Engineering. As specialist mechanical engineers, the team regularly carried out maintenance at utility sites where they were frustrated by the difficultly of gaining access to secure chambers.
The external padlocks on the access covers were a huge hinderance. Engineers would end up kneeling in the mud, fumbling around with freezing fingers to unlock a padlock they couldn’t see. Padlocks ended up on the ground, creating potential security implications.
The access covers had not placed the user at the heart of the design
Unable to find an alternative, the JOD team decided to tap into their engineering expertise to design a solution. Back in the workshop, they developed a secure access cover with two integrated padlocks, which can be opened in seconds with one hand, wearing gloves.
